EA at Marc S. Standig, EA
I have known John for over ten years as a professional colleague. While John worked at the State, I had been active with the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Tax Professionals as one of the Government Relations Committee. John helped provide education services to the New Jersey Chapter and made himself available to our membership in an effort to help solve problems for the citizens of New Jersey. John served the State as a conscientious, knowledgeable and dedicated professional. He will be great in private practice.
December 26, 2015, Marc worked with John at State of New Jersey
Before entering private practice, John Kelly was the New Jersey Chief of Legislative Analysis and Disclosure in the Division of Taxation. Having been present at the birth of New Jersey tax laws for decades John is an expert without peer on New Jersey taxes. His is familiar with the tax laws, their histories, justifications, operations, and administrative processes. As the Assistant Treasurer for Tax Policy and Revenue Analysis, I relied on John so much, that I had his telephone number assigned to my top left speed dial button. He is a great colleague and friend and I recommend him without reservation.
